A-Void-Dance (Under Construction)

Run from the dark and the dark will chase,
Silence will echo, it carves out space.
Better to leap, to strike, advance,
Than drown in the weight of refusing the dance.

This piece began two years ago and, like many things in my life, I avoided it. Over time, I’ve learned that what we choose not to face doesn’t disappear—it waits, it grows, and eventually, it pulls us in. The void only deepens with avoidance.

While stepping into it can be frightening, the greater danger lies in turning away. We should fear the cost of avoidance far more than the challenge of confronting what lies within. A - VOID - DANCE  is about that moment of choice: to be consumed by what we resist, or to dive in and move through it.

 I am proud of myself for how much progress I've made, but it still needs work before I can call it complete. I look forward to sharing my journey into the void with you - let's dance!
